Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer

The BOC provides the only accredited certification program for Athletic Trainers (ATs) in the United States. We established both the standards for the practice of athletic training and the continuing education requirements for BOC Certified Athletic Trainers, as well as Board Certified Specialists in Orthopedics. Since 1982, the BOC has been continuously accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Our vision is to lead credentialing excellence globally.
